Lasko High Velocity Floor or Wall-Mount Fan, 20-Inch
Review by birdlady : Gives "High Velocity" a new meaning!
I bought this, not knowing what to expect. I assembled this in a few minutes and plugged it in. This fan(on low speed) blows away the other high velocity fan that cost $90 that brags of over 11,000 cfm's on high speed!
This fan is light weight and slim. Easy to adjust at any angle. On warm days, I place this in the "hassock" position and I can really feel the air move in the room.
It is not a fan to have in the bedroom at night while sleeping. It does make a louder than normal noise. For that, I use the other so-called high velocity fan on "low" setting and I am fine.
It's a "shop fan" for the home! I love it!
Lasko High Velocity Floor or Wall-Mount Fan, 20-Inch
Review by CodyR : very high output
I have had many different fans claiming to be "high velocity". I just received this fan today and I can honestly say I have never experienced higher output! On low this fan blows as much air around as most of my others on high do. True it is not as quiet as others but with the amount of air this moves plus all metal construction, I would expect to be more aware of it. Personally I love it! It is reasonably well built, does not 'rattle' or make other noises, is sturdy and almost impossible to knock over. I recommend this to anyone who wants a bit of air moving around the room. I would not recommend placing this in front of a couch or chair and have it blow directly on you from a few feet away. Too much air.
Lasko High Velocity Floor or Wall-Mount Fan, 20-Inch
Review by Tony L. Pakula : Lasko Floor Fan review
The fan arrived as promised & undamaged. It took about 2 minutes to finish assembly (No tools required). It moves quite a bit of air and is fairly quiet. I guess it is the blade configuration. It has a metal blade but the motor looks a bit on the light side. Only time will attest to it's durability. It has some real big shoes to fill. It is replacing A Hampton Bay(King of Fans) Model HV20 which lasted 10 years. The original Fan price was $55.00 which was a little pricy at the time but well worth it. The reason I opted for the Lasko Fan is it resembles my original fan which is no longer available through the king of fans. The Lasko design appears to move the same amount of air on low.(which is where I normally run my fans) So at this point in time I am satisfied with this product and it's performance.

Review by Patrox247 : Best Fan I Have Ever Owned
The upstairs to my house becomes a torcher chamber of heat during the summer most likely due to a combination of poor engineering by the architect and less than adequate insulation. I tried several fans but the heat was so great that the fans could not push enough air to cool anything down. They merely pushed hot waves of air at you. This fan is a powerhouse and I can finaly get some relief! If you are looking for a fan that is quiet then this is not the fan for you. This is a fan for when it is hot as hell and you need to cool down. I am so glad I bought this darn thing. Highly recommended to the person who is sitting in miserable heat like I used to do before I got this fan.
