Absolutely a necessary tool for your ladder. This is well-built, sturdy and easy to use. My ladder is a G******, not Little Giant but this accessory fits well and does the job. I'm a contractor and have had a Little Giant for quite a while. It is the most used ladder in my tool trailer. Employees prefer it as well. I have intended to buy this item for a long time and finally did. It works well on uneven ground. I believe I will get another one to use when it's being used as a step ladder. The item did not get 5 stars because the rubber foot on the leg leveler is on backwards. The beveled part is beveled the opposite direction than the ones on the bottom of the ladder. I don't know what that's all about, but it would be an easy fix for Little Giant to make.

This is great in hilly San Francisco. It works on exterior side walks and on stairs. It gives the ladder great stability.

It even works great on other brands than Little Giant. Mine is a different brand.
