Great product. The plastic is of good quality. Fits easily on my canon lens.
To save storage space, the lens hood can be revered and attached to your lens. Helps also in protecting your lens.

This hood looks and connects like the Canon brand. I found the design and quality to be as fuctional and the Canon brand as a lesser price. I recommend this as a smart choice for photographers on a limited budget. This hood can be installed backwards on the lens to add in space management in your camera bag.
The first installation on my lens was real tight, but careful installation and removal several times corrected the the possible problem of fit and it loosened enough to allow normal snug fit.
